    doublevr As an owner of both a Fleshlight Launch (bluetooth) and Handy (server side), one of the big issues I have with server side setups is the long delay for scripts to load. There is often 30+ secs of zero stimulation. As someone who likes to skip from one video to another, this means there is very little time when the Handy is active.

    This is not an issue with bluetooth setup at all. All the scripts load instantly.

    If you are pushing for server setups, could you please speed up the load times? One option could be to provide an easy option for subscribers to have all the scripts already downloaded on their headset. E.g. You could include all the scripts as part of the SLR app, or as an optional additional download.

        Does this mean that all these toys I've purchased won't work after that? Keon won't work? Pulse won't won't work? Etc., Etc., won't work? I've got over $1,000 invested in this stuff--all purchased because they work with SLR.

            mebejoe it won't be an overnight pull right when 2024 begins, but at some point during the year it is going to stop working.

            Till that time i can see a lot will change. I don't think users should worry much up until 2024. You should be happy about the change when it comes

              doublevr im not a script user but the same issue exists for the videos themselves... there needs to be less delay

                  spacepirate videos are more complicated. We plan to get one level next in streaming and caching during 2023.
                  Ultimately we would have to put our caching servers in every network to get things right, but there's some room for optimisation we are going to take

                    • poor connectivity thus more support requests
                    • insecure scripts
                    • poor performance compared to server

                    You don't even know what API actually even stands for is my guess. SLR is going down the tubes. You are trying to make things proprietary.. From the app to the toys to the scripts. We get that you need to make money and want to corner a market but tread carefully.

                          You know that a lot of us (your customers), don't understand some of your cryptic announcements and jargon. We're not IT people, some of us.

                          Getting closer to 2024, I still don't understand what will still work with SLR haptic connect app.

                          I have two Keons. Will these still work? If not, that sucks--you just decided to make $500 worth of my equipment equivalent to bricks for me.

                          What about my Pulse? Gush? Calor? Onxy+? Handy?

                          I don't know from which ones use Blue tooth and which ones use Wifi and which ones use your API and so forth.

                                  If my Lovense Egde or Hush 2 and Vorze Piston SA will stop working, I most likely cancel the sub. There is no other toy, that has entrance to the sleeve fixed in one position and I don't see any good vibrating toys outside of Lovense, that can connect to VR porn.
