DeoVR Single Controller Bug

Hey,

For the longest time DeoVR had no issues with one controller, then a couple months ago started to notice it has issues. I only use one controller and the other is powered off without a battery in it. If you launch DeoVR with a single controller (For instance right controller on) load the app, enter the pin you get to see the main screen. If you lean your head back just a little you start to see a 'ghost' controller (left in this case) show up as if it is floating in the air.

Couple things, can DeoVR support a single controller mode officially? Secondly can you guys remove that 'ghost' controller from showing up? For me the main screen for SLR is to large to i have to step back for it not to look gigantic which then runs into this bug.

jay22111 I’m not sure what vr device you are using but I have seen the ghost controller you mention. On the quest (and quest 2) if you hold down the oculus button to recenter the page the ghost controller disappears.

jay22111 What headset are you using? And as @Sperson mentioned, have you tried the steps he provided?

jay22111 You can move the main screen in and out with one of the controllers. I use an xbox controller so I don't know which button it is but you can for sure do it

I have the same controller problem on Quest 2.

Another problem is that if I watch cam girls in Oculus browser (Stripchat) before opening SLR (sideloaded app), after a while the audio from the cam girl website comes back. This doesn't happen when I use other apps like Heresphere - only in SLR. It seems to me that the Quest OS keeps the (audio) stream somewhere in the system and something in SLR triggers a restart of that stream.

Sorry guys I have a quest 2. When i use the recenter it works fine however if you move your head back slightly that ghost controller comes back into the picture.

@Yar is this something that you and the team could address? Its super annoying !
