Best videos for Passthrough

Good tip on using the passthrough I've come to get accustomed to is any video your watching and u try passthrough...always start with the saturation, turn it on around -5 ...I usually just move it around that area, you're just turning it on basically, next move the color range to about -10 and move slow towards the left till you get a good passthrough if any, this usually works as a first method to begin with but if it don't work well then u gotta match up the hue color to the back ground wall color surroundings. Then do the first method I mentioned.
Sometimes that first method works well and you don't have to match any colors to hue.
This what I've found out messing with the passthrough ...alot
thanks a lot maybe colorful passthrough will have different settings
Another cool tip I just learned
So say you do the method first like i mention up there
And the eyes and hair are see through or grainy looking, the edges on the bodies aren't sharp or you have like objects still showing, what u can do is turn the color range to -1 one and opacity to 99 98, it helps
And of course adjust them where u like how it looks.

damian I'm not the biggest passthrough fan but even I can see the huge value this direction has to offer.. and that can only be done through experimentation.
You don't need top tier porn stars for experiments... And I actually don't see why there have to be public experiments in general. You can do internal experiments with the staff working for SLR...
Maybe you guys don't understand it, but when I see that top tier talent is casted only to appear in some experiment for a gimmicky thing that is years away from full realization I do feel disappointed. It's that simple.
LordCrash that is years away from full realization I do feel disappointed.
With the Pico 4 / Quest Pro / whatever else is around the corner, might not be all that far away.
No one quote me on this...I am not on the Dev side of things, just speaking as a VR enjoyer
But I hear you. Hopefully with the increase in US and EU productions you (and everyone) will have plenty of weekly options to choose from.
This video pretty good
considering it was in a kitchen

The opacity, if you put it at 100 you can see how just a minor adjustment really helps take out more background and smooth out the edges of her body.
Didn't read the entire thread so not sure if this was mentioned, but couldn't you just edit any video to remove the background? There is AI software that can do this pretty well now (u-2-net). It could potentially make all videos passthrough-ready.
doowop stop! U killing me
The passthrough fun to mess with!

Well, that's not the mass market though. I doubt a lot of customers are willing to invest four-digit amounts in their VR tech. But we'll see where this is going...
sletje l got an app called fotor that can eliminate any background in the picture and keep the figure perfectly..This technology will function well to videos
Maybe some day the algorithm will let us choose specific area to passthrough like picture editor
We still enjoying the passthrough?

I’ve found blue to be the most effective key chroma color on most vids. Try it on all the swallowbay vids, it varies per vid but somewhere around

Most keep hair/eyes fully, and almost completely loses all background including blue/grey/purple//green/white/black. This applies to tons of other vids I’ve found. Def takes a lot of fooling with which can be annoying. But end result is unreal if done right. Hope to see a lot more
Vrsumo2017 yep, and have a Pico 4 sitting on my desk, just waiting for DeoVR to become available.
Guys say we can have every video good for pass through once they accomplish some few things
I watched the recent Xlayna video with passthrough. It's really interesting, unfortunately with Quest 2 cameras the effect isn't very immersive. I can see how it could be really cool in the future.
I wonder if there is a way to match the lighting better. Recently i saw a tool that could take any 2d image and light it from a different direction (Clipdrop Relight). Maybe something like that could be possible for videos too

Make sure to upgrade to Quest Pro to get pass through to the next level. It's colored and stereo

doublevr Would you gift one to me? I miss the times in which you could just watch some porn for a few bucks without the need to buy fucking Meta tech for more than a grand before...
