I’m not the most tech savvy person, but usually I would figure something like this out on my own. I cannot get the SLR app to work on my oculus quest 2, Will not load on DEOVR either. SLR app just opens, shows the SLR giant colorful three letters “SLR“ but then it just stops there. DEOVR Will work to every other extent, with the exception of the SLR website. There will be a lock in front of “http://:sexlikereal.com” and it will not go further. The new beta releases of app lab and Meta Quest browser immersive load them just fine, but they are not ready to use yet; but just for the reference of functionality to their current capabilities, they load up and run videos. I assume it is some sort of security setting, but somehow just limited to blocking SLR on the SLR app and DEO. Can you make life for me great again? Many thanks
SLR App and and DEOVR will not load SLR site
iStand4freedom I also have been having this problem for the last week or so after exhausting all troubleshooting options. They are aware of it but they have not provided a solution. I have seen several others posting the same problem. Unfortunately I had to cancel my subscription. SLR is the best when working, so yeah, it really is a shame.

It’s definitely a security or firewall issue. It’s an easy fix, because SLR is considered an “unknown source“ in the apps category, it’s just a matter of how to tap into those settings. I’ve seen a couple of other exact same discussions that ended prematurely, because the user had inadvertently fixed the problem in midst of the discussion. The unfortunate part is they didn’t disclose their method before terminating their participation in the matter!
We are working to get it fixed https://forum.sexlikereal.com/d/3001-slr-not-loading-through-deovr-on-oculus-quest-2
Sorry about that.
In meantime try this:
I had on several occasion eliminate the issue just by going to the WI-FI menu of my Quest2 , let it load the list of wifis , just jump out from the wifi menu and open up DeoVR\SLR app. Surprisingly it works.
I definitely agree that we should try eliminate this issue once and for all. Maybe having an offline start for the app would help. As in the app would just load up complete made playable (user can go to local file explorer or so) and then the app can start asynchronously seeking online feed.
Thank you for the suggestions. The Wi-Fi method alone did not work, but emptying the DEOVR Temporary storage data and Rebooting my router did. Not sure which of the two actually moved the needle, but at least they are up and running now. For what it’s worth, seemingly having to verify and confirm access to the site interface with my headset was a major part of the remedy. Even after emptying the data and router reboot, it was still responding in the same sluggish manner until the point of confirming access. So perhaps if that is the issue, developers can work on a way to either periodically confirm or renew permissions? I could be wrong, but it certainly seems like the pivotal moment was being able to get to that confirmation again, which otherwise seems inaccessible.
iStand4freedom Hey hey! This is more like a provider issue. If possible, send a log report via button in settings panel. And give us number so we can investigate it. Thank you!
I'm sorry but I don't understand. How do I determine whether I am "confirming access" from quest 2 to the site. You're obviously more tech savvy than myself and any help would be appreciated considering I've tried clearing app data and restarting my router with no results. I even called my ISP as someone on discord said the may be blocking access. Thanks
