I am trying to sign up for a 1 year + scripts membership. Epoch sends a $0.01 card validation charge (which is approved), and then says that my card was declined by the bank. They did this on a credit and debit card from the same bank, same thing for both, and cost me an hour on the phone. What gives?
Epoch Issues??
withy We don't really have direct engagement with anything related to payment processing, so I don't really have a specific answer other than suggestion you contact your bank/credit card company to confirm the attempted purchases were legitimate (unless that's who you were on the phone with). Though I'm assuming if you contacted Epoch that may be what they advised you to do.
Alternatively you could try signing up through a different payment processor (Securion or Verotel), which you may have better luck with.
For anything more specific though you'll probably want to submit a support ticket here so that we can pull up your account info/etc. and aren't having to post anything like emails/etc. here in the forum.
Same problem here. Epoch + Paypal and Epoch + Credit card both don't work and Epoch tells me the bank declined.
I doubt it's the bank, because Paypal and my Credit Card are different banks and both never declined anything for me in the past - so I suspect some problem with Epoch itself.
Just for information, I will try again in a few days or switch to Securion or Verotel.

Rakly3 I was trying to create a new account to get a fresh start with my favorites, because I wanted to be a little bit more strict with those in the future, so they would be more helpful to find the really good videos again.
But as I have a few days left on the old account I can wait and if there are problems next week I will use Securion or Verotel, so this shouldn't be a problem.
Based on my personal experience, Epoch doesn't care two shits about you as a customer, and are pretty much the worst customer service I have ever experienced!
I also had problems with paypal-foreign transctions is like pulling teeth with small town banks it seems!
Verotel works seamlessly so they get my vote.
