I have a problem on my Quest 2 that started about two weeks ago. I am assuming it is because of a recent DeoVR update as it's happened all of a sudden. And that is that in a streaming 3D/180+ degree video from SLR, it will freeze 3 or 4 times. It does not happen with files from a local folder. I've been using DeoVR trouble free up until this point. It's very disconcerting to immerse oneself into a SLR storyline then have it stop completely for 15 to 30 seconds staring at a frozen frame. I've tried lowering the resolution of the video (to 1440) but it doesn't help. I originally posted this at the DeoVR support site but was told that this was a SLR problem and I should post here.
DeoVR freezes when playing stream SLR.

could be a weak wifi signal, your internet connection, or the slr servers
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that we've seen your bug report and it's been passed along to be checked out. :-)

bloodrush Same here, and I've tried resetting the headset and Wi-Fi router multiple times. Tried lowering the video resolution. The speed tests show great wifi speeds on my headset and phone. SLR is basically unusable right now because of how frequently the videos keep pausing. Wondering if it's possible to disable automatic DeoVR updates on Quest 2 to prevent this from happening in the future.
Edit:
Since getting a different internet provider from Xfinity the videos seem to be working much more smoothly, so that could be a possible fix for anyone else with these issues.
I've noticed it too. It almost seems like the most popular/newest videos are fine. It's the ones that aren't as popular and are older that freezes up.
