  • DeoVR not working on Quest 2 with SexLikeReal

Just get 3 rotating dots - and never connects. DeoVR is working with other web sites, just not sexlikereal.com - has been like this for weeks - things I have tried :- Desktop access is working, and speedtest from DeoVR on quest works - so network connectivity is there. Tried deleting DeoVR data on headset and rebooting - no difference. Also tried uninstalling DeoVR, rebooting, and reinstalling - no difference. I also had the SLR app sideloaded, that had the same problem. Only increased my subscription to include scripts recently, and obviously can't use at all currently, so unless this is fixed, would like a refund for that.

I'm a Quest 2 user and it works fine for me.

GoldVortex So there's a number of reasons this potentially could be happening and a number of potential workarounds, so here's a few you might want to try (some of this is a copy/paste so the verbiage might be a bit odd):

If it's the DeoVR app installed from the Oculus Store, please try going to the Oculus Storage settings and remove the temporary/cached data for the app. In many cases this should fix it. If it's still not fixed, Repeat the process but shut down the Quest 2 completely, not simply restart. Then start it again and launch DeoVR.

If the app is sideloaded, then remove the app completely from the Quest 2, reboot and reinstall.

I know that there have also been some users who have resolved this issue my unplugging their modem and wifi router and allowing it to sit for several minutes before plugging them back in.

If you can try the above steps, and if your issue is STILL not resolved please reach out to us with this form (https://www.sexlikereal.com/pages/contact) and we can try some further troubleshooting.

GoldVortex I had a similar issue after sideloading except that deo would ONLY load SLR even after removing everything.

Delete SLR app. Delete DEO. Remove cache. Reboot. Install Deo again.

Thanks, just gone through a few variations - cleaning everything out and doing a fresh install of DeoVR didn't work, but I then tried sideloading a copy of DeoVR - which appeared to work ! - more strange, when I checked back on the Meta/Oculus loaded version, that also worked after a significant delay. I'm leaving both the standard and sideloaded version installed for the moment while I monitor. I will raise with DeoVR support as well, something is not right in there.

try to use VPN, probably SLR site is blocked by your country. many options: NordVPN, express VPN

      a year later

I habe the same problem with my quest 3.
After an hour troubleshooting i somehow got into the app again. When i try to liad my playlists it says that the server connection fails. However i can start videos from the front page. Its just strange.

AzgardCKJ In most cases, the router restart resolves the issue. I suggest when this happens again is to try to connect your headset via mobile hotspot and confirm if the issue is still there.

[deleted] Thanks. I've done everythin suggested and it works now again 🙂 I still get in App the notification that the server connections fails from time to time. But it is way better now. I did not think about the router being the problem since everything else worked just fine

My Quest 3 has been returned for a refund, while I wait for the refund so I can purchase another Quest 3 from a different retailer I'm having to go back to Quest 2, I loaded SLR in DeoVR yesterday and I was also getting the server error and none of my playlists would load, all videos played fine from front end menu but even after resetting headset and router none of my playlists would load. They were working fine when I last used Quest 3 Sunday...definitely something going on, its can't be everyone's router all at the same time!
