Rakly3 Just making sure, did you guys enable spatial audio in the Windows sound settings?
Right click the sound icon in your Windows taskbar > Spatial Sound > Windows Sonic for Headphones
Yes, but it is on Atmos. And no this can not make any difference, the output from the SLR App is 2 channel,.
It is also not that it is not working, the audio is multidimensional and it is also adjusting to your head position as it should.
But it is way too slow causing a noticeable delay. It is quite bad for immersion if the audio follows your head only half a second after you moved it, which defeats the point of spatial audio completely.
The regular audio is spatial anyway, just in a static way, the spatial audiostream tries to make this dynamic to your head position, which technically works but too slow to be usable.
Also at least on the videos I tried, the spatial audio mix is not great either. The directions are correct, but everything feels to be way wider then what you see on screen. The sounds all seem to be meters away from you, not great when someone whispers in your ear.
For now spatial audio is a great idea, but unfortunately not usable at all. The regular audio stream is way better as it is spatial as well, and absolutely perfect as long as you look straight.
