  • How do you create a VR Porn Subscription Site?

Lately I have been thinking about starting a VR porn studio.

I know the plan for most VR porn studio startups is to do a few scenes and list them on larger sites like SLR and build up a following first. And from there you could get people to consider signing up on your subscription site that has more exclusive content or to support your releases. But I'm curious about thinking ahead, and the process of getting a personal VR porn studio site up and running.

Does anyone know what all the major VR Porn sites are likely using to operate and setup their VR porn sites as far as front end/backend coding and database video file management?

How do you think they are they handling all their video file hosting/streaming?

What hosting provider am I going to be able to use that would allow users to download terabytes of data per month from my site at high speeds or how would you best handle this?

Are there any good guides, tutorials or templates online that help you set up a subscription based video site where all your content is behind a paywall like all the major sites? But instead of video, it's VR porn video content.

I'm just trying to better understand what it would take to setup and launch a VR porn studio subscription site that lists content on SLR like WankzVR, VRBangers, LethalHardcoreVR, but also has their own site. I think starting out thinking like this gives you an added incentive to actually do it and have something to work up towards. Building up a large high quality catalogue that you actually can get subscriptions on your site, and list your scenes on other sites like SLR.

Thanks for any tips or suggestions!

like any other business they figure it out as they go... maybe assisted by some relevant prior experience. no one is going to answer those questions for you or give you a how to guide you have to work it out for yourself

RoccoVR In 2022 I can't see any chance for a new paysite to succeed. There has been no successful newcommer like that in years. It tooks a while to build a legacy given you have great content, team and recources.

VR Porn is super consolidated those days. Producers make only a fraction with their site compared to what they make on SLR.

Right now the best strategy would be to invest in awesome content and get it scripted which gives a huge boost for views.

I’ve no idea about the technical side of things but I don’t understand why so many VR sites put all their content on SLR and other similar sites. What incentive is there for people to sign up for your site if there’s nothing exclusive on there? Sites like RealjamVR have all their content on here literally a couple of days after it goes up on their own site. Why would anyone sign up for their own site? I have in the past to show additional support for them as a provider of anal content but it’s getting harder to justify it, just out of the goodness of my heart. I doubt many others subscribe there. Same with Xsinsvr, although they at least make SLR wait a few weeks for the content.

If you want people to sign up, you need to be like Virtual Taboo, Dark RoomVR, Czechvr etc and make your stuff exclusive.

I’d argue that you need to do something different too. No point in just being another Wankzvr or Vrbangers. Maybe try to look for a gap in the VR porn market (of which there are many) and drive subscribers to you that way.

they usually already had a networked non-VR site. Starting from scratch, even for non-VR sites is really tough and operates at a loss for a long long time. And I'm not talking in months.
