R5C is very different from the basic R5. Some firmware modifications are required to make it great. Will keep you updated.

Well. I doubt firmware upgrades will help with the lack of DOF of the lens, but let´s hope for the best
doublevr Ok, now I'm asking how studio Kinky Girls Berlin are shooting with the new Canon Lens? Their scenes look great with sharpness and no noise over the complete Depth of the scene. As far as I understood they still use the Basic Canon R5 and are interpolating from 30fps to 60fps. So the big problem seems only the new Canon R5C camera?
Cannot be a first step to try to use the Basic Canon R5 for some SLRO scenes?

This camera is good. I've seen good footage of it. just need to watch a tutorial how to use it properly. It isnt as simple as it looks.
