sheldoncooper True, but most studios don't process the amount of scenes we do. We always have scenes waiting in queue and actively being transcoded. We would have to either delay new scenes or hire more servers.
It's like running a crypto mining farm, except, you don't get crypto for it. Which is what I was alluding to with the cost doesn't justify the gain. Processing a new scene is financially much more beneficial. Not just for SLR, but also for the studio making the scenes. - Upscaling old SLRO scenes would thus also indirectly take away revenue for our affiliates.
