I totally agree with you. For me the immersion goes together with the care put into the background of the scene.

JENNA REID - WANKZVR ROAD TEST (POVR)
This scene is so hot that it could be turned into a popular VR series. On POVR it has 100+ user comments with a lot of people talking about how hot it is. Go look at the last VR scene you orgasmed to and look how many comments are on it, likely only a few on most titles. So 100+ comments is actually a lot showing very high demand for scenes like this. This is definitely one of the better VR immersive experiences where you really feel like you are Quantum Leaped into the body and going through it.

You start off in the passenger seat as Jenna walks up to your rolled down window and gives you a dirty look like "ugh, I really don't want to do this driving test". You are her driving instructor and are supposed to take her out on the road for her driving test so she can get her drivers license. It has a few niches in it, it has public sex, a real world roleplay type example where you are basically re-enacting or living someone's life as a driving instructor, and it has the trash talking/shit talking/bad attitude theme. I think a lot of guys can relate to experiencing a woman being upset, having a bad attitude, insulting, talking crap, going through a breakup, being in a bad mood, moody/grumpy, etc. There is something very realistic about it that you don't see often in VR porn, but it is more real to nature and immersive.

I think it's most immersive when a girl seems genuine. That she seems comfortable, her self, present, you can see some personality, etc. It really sells the idea that there is an actual person in front of you which really adds to the immersion. The opposite of that would be the overacting you see a lot. Like the over the top moaning, fucking like she needs 10 more reps before hitting the showers, etc. Don't get me wrong, it can be nice to have the cock craving slut once in a while (vina sky comes to mind) but it's still far less immersive.
In my experience it's mostly JAV that does this really well even though there is also the occasional non JAV scene. It's the pace, "closeness", the lack of robotic sex and the connection these girls make with the camera that sets a scene like this apart from what you usually see in western porn.
