justsomedude101 I would say around 'Naughty Dorm Party: Dope Arcade' (I can't tell how many months ago that was anymore) over a year ago. There were some before that as SLR was getting better and better.

By 'Dorn Party' SLR had finally worked out all of there issues with everything and started to make beautiful scenes. The backgrounds were gorgeous, the lighting was perfect, the scaling was perfect. I know the distance from my lap is subjective but it was always very close to perfect so anybody could make minor adjustments. It didn't feel like a porn set at all. There were story lines of how I ended up in this situation that I could believe in.

SLR was on fire. It was the best run of consistently great videos of any company IMO. I liked almost everyone one of them up until the 8K camera crushed it all.

Up until the 8K camera and the new team was added. I know I have said it on here before so I don't mean to put down peoples hard work. Everything changed, we stopped getting everything above and started to get a girl appear from a warehouse wall with neon lights. No story, no beautiful scene, the scaling got worse.

We waited for months on months to get through all the 8K stuff and I was excited to get back to the great SLR. But instead of going back to all the beautiful scenes you guys just added more teams. It obviously hard to shoot really good VR because only a couple of company's do it. They are the ones that have been doing it the longest.

So to answer your question of why is it watered down. Its because now your going to have 7 teams shoot all kinds of stuff. Not scaled right, in a nonexciting room, with no story as we the customer have to now wait for all the new teams to learn how to shoot VR.

My point was why not go back to the year ago videos as the mean SLR brand and make a second brand that doesn't hurt your reputation to teach all the other producers. Now your good stuff is surrounded by bad stuff.

      I'm with you on this, in fact I don't really go for POV scenes at all. They restrict creativity, same camera angle, same action, just different performers. I wish they would make some movies in 3rd person and get creative like the old 2d movies did. also move of the SLR gloryhole content like the first 2.

        You should start focusing on the basis, like anal scenes which is still very much rare in VR. IMO

Maya in particular is one of the more unique looking girls in porn so it was major disappointment that they rushed through it.

          I think far too much of the "immersion" conversation with VR focuses on haptics (especially on this site), but I think there's still something that a good slow setup can offer.
