I currently have a Handy myself and owned a Launch prior to that, and can say that there's a lot of things that the Handy does really well (which is why I would definitely suggest it): the ease of setup, the fact that it does not require a phone or secondary app to run scripts/interactive, how simple it is to operate with the SLR app, the fact that it uses wifi rather than bluetooth so the delays are virtually nonexistent, and I could go on.
I do sometimes get frustrated with the velcro strap, but tbh that's pretty much my only criticism personally. And from what I've seen it can be easily fixed or worked around.
As far as the feeling of it and using it with a script? Great. I mean that's pretty much all there is to say about it.
I don't personally use it all the time, but it's a fun option to have available and easily worth the cost imho.
