In theory I personally think it's a cool idea, but I imagine it would be far too difficult to implement, would require a majority of the user base to engage with to provide any worthwhile data (which frankly would not happen), and the info obtained from it wouldn't necessarily be as useful as you'd think.
Even if we knew that X, Y, and Z positions/angles were the most popular- if any studio stuck to using just those angles (however popular they may be), pretty soon fans would complain due to the stale & formulaic nature of the scenes and lack of variety. As a viewer myself- I know I would.
I think that favoriting individual scenes along with direct feedback in the comments is the most effective way of providing input on positions/angles. A large portion of the studios who are represented on SLR also actively read the comments on their releases and often respond, as well as in the forum.
