SLR app does not recognize when a video is playing

For at least a week, the SLR app is not recognizing that a video is playing.
The app on my phone connects successfully with my SLR account, and connects successfully with my Kirroo Launch.
When playing a video on the SLR player, the app does not recognize that anything is playing, and does not send any motion requests to the Launch.

Another user brought it up in a different section.

Same here. Using a Valve Index... not even trying to connect any other device. Audio starts up and UI freezes... have to shut down the app (DeoVR latest AND SLR App) and restart...
