Given the increasing popularity of the script sector of SLR and the seemingly endless posting of video links to the request forum thread (given how easy it is to copy/paste spam and forget about it), it feels like the list is obnoxiously WAY too long/untethered to the actual releases occurring. (Caveat: I am speaking about customer requests and not the planned scripts that come out with new upcoming videos/scheduled releases etc)
I have a request that I think would help to reward engagement/involve active consumers in determining which scripts enter the pipeline.
Would a consumer voting system be possible for which videos are to be scripted next? Either as a forum feature or more realistically as a discord poll?
^ ie collating recent script requests into an easy to interact poll format to help filter out copy/paste spamming and actually reward community interest. Even restricting script requests specifically to the discord would inherently filter interest effectively/boost engagement/create a manageable volume to collate into voting polls.
Please let me know if this is possible. Given the response to my request in another thread that there be an 'upcoming notification banner' for the script page of SLR (@FreyaSLR ), it seems as though this direction is the next logical step.
Continued gratitude to @RealcumberScripts for everything he does for this sector of SLR!!
If anyone in the community agrees with this idea, please like/comment on this post so the SLR team can see the community interest. Thank you!!
