JAVPlayer is a decensoring tool (also one of the wonders of deep learning 
) available right now, but AFAIK it doesn't work with VR scenes.....yet...
Meh, I find I don't mind so much when viewing Jav stuff if it's censored. Used to hate it and try to squint my eyes to remove some of the blur (it kinda works, but not well), but I've come (lol) to a happy place where I can accept it in exchange for some of the fucking weird shit they put in their vids.
Slightly off-topic, but not really, there are some fascinating points of view that having a blank slate (read bland actor, but in this case blurry images) makes it easier for viewers to insert (lol) themselves into the action, to project themselves into the scene.
I concentrate on the models reactions (facial and noises) more so than just staring at a cock/pussy combo anyway, so maybe that's why I don't mind the censorship so much.

I still don't it. Shooting uncensored porn is not illegal in Japan (naturally, because the censoring happens later in the editing room). Making uncensored porn available to Japanese people is illegal, I get that. Japanese government can dictate what their own people get to see. What I don't get is why making uncensored porn available to the whole rest of the world except Japan would be illegal. Japan has no jurisdiction outside Japan. And why would they even care how the content is available to everyone else on the world except Japanese people?
LordCrash SLR is trying to enter the JVR market. They already have a huge foothold in the American/European markets, and they're trying to get a bigger slice of what is literally the largest single adult film market in the world: Japan.
If SLR releases uncensored JVR content to the world outside of Japan, it gains them nothing. The people who would sign up for SLR because of that content are already signed up for SLR, so they don't gain anything from the investment.
BUT if SLR releases censored JVR content to Japan (+ the rest of the world because they can), they gain a new foothold in one of the the largest adult film markets that exists.
If SLR tried to play both sides by releasing censored content in Japan and the same content uncensored in the rest of the world, a bunch of negative things could happen. They could be fined by the Japanese gov't for whatever arbitrary reason, but more importantly the JVR stars would never shoot with them again, since the stars themselves would be blacklisted in the JVR market for releasing uncensored porn, which again would basically ruin SLR's investment trying to get into the Japanese market. And JVR is all about the big names, just like the rest of the world.
Or so I imagine.

LordCrash it's not illegal, but you would need the permission of the copyright owner, and 1) they are unlikely to give permission because that would be seen as ripping of their Japanese user base and 2) if they did give permission, there would be no point since they could just give you the original files.
But creating such a tool and releasing it is perfectly legal, and it would be legal to run that tool on your own legally acquired videos.

I know this would be impossible because she left the business and now I don’t even find any of her prolific content on R18 site, but man if you guys could find a way to even once film Tina Yuzuki, aka Rio, for a VR scene, that would be just about as legendary as she is 
You guys have performed miracles before. This might be a good use for hiring an Unreal Engine dev though

Just curious. Did you mean that you indeed have the ability to develop an AI that could reverse censoring without access to the original uncensored videos. Or you could reverse it just because you already have the original uncensored files?
wmfewmgkqoozlnzmnn Believe he was saying that the AI censoring SLR has been working on can have that censoring reversed. Like an on/off switch, though as mentioned before it will always need to stay "on" and censored for a bunch of legal reasons.
