The app has worked fine for months. All of a sudden, around xmas, the app would check for updates for several seconds and then give me "Connection error! The operation has timed out" and no amount of "Retry"s helps. I uninstalled the app from windows and downloaded the installer, fresh from the website, installed it and I still get the same thing. I assumed it was a service outage for days but now, after finding these forums, I assume it's just me.
