Unable to link Handy with SLR. All set up and connected, just cannot get SLR to connect with Handy.
Handy
whatmeworry4 Which device and headset are you using?
Try turning off 5ghz and connect only on the exact same 2.4 ghz network (even try using mobile data network to ensure its the same network being connected)
Using Oculus Go. SLR does recognize my Handy device, I just am unable to get videos to work in Interactive mode. I am unable to download the SLR app on my PC however, I have the SLR app on my phone but when I try to scan for the Handy device, it cannot find it. I have switched everything to a 2.4 Ghz wifi line. Very close but I feel like I am missing one step.
whatmeworry4 Consider upgrading your headset https://www.sexlikereal.com/blog/216-whats-the-best-headset-for-vr-porn. Go was deprecated by FB a while back ago so it wasn't updated for quite a while

whatmeworry4 Hi @whatmeworry4 - Did you perform your initial setup steps for when you first received your Handy via their Handy smartphone connect app?
You should get a 5 digit code that you use to enter into Handy settings, and you will want to ensure your Handy is not connected anywhere else and in flashing WIFI pairing mode when trying to connect to SLR video player app (by pushing the wifi button on your Handy)
If you just ran the first time setup through the Handy app or Handy setup website, force close it that to ensure its no longer connected to that app, and unplug and then replug in the Handy again to be safe
Hhhmmm. If I had no concerns for money, I would get the Oculus Quest 2. Honestly, those are such a hot item, they are difficult to find these days! Having said that, the Oculus Go has recognized the Handy device with the original 5 digit code. I am guessing that the SLR app is an old version that does not have the Handy on it's list. I see many other device options but the Handy is not on the list and it cannot find it via a scan. I have tried to uninstall, restart, reinstall but nothing. I am unable to find a different version of this app. Might this be the issue?
whatmeworry4 - you do not use SLR interactive app for the Handy toy (thats why its not listed in that app)- you just Deovr/SLR video player app and enter your code there (which sounds like you did already)
Can you try offline local folder videos and scripts if streaming doesnt work for you?
