  • DeoVR + Occulus Go + Handy not working

Hi,
I can't get the Handy working with DeoVR on Occulus Go. It connects fine, but when I watch a video (picked from filtered list) nothing happens. I know the Handy works because it works on other (non VR) sites.
I've tried installing SLR but Go support has been removed :-(
Am I doing something wrong or is Go not supported even via DeoVR?

If it doesn't work with an oculus go, there must be a problem, because with my gear vr, it works.

    How do you use it?

Only in streaming with an account including the scripts?
Or local with the scripts you downloaded?

If locally with downloaded scripts, you have to make sure that the name of the script matches the name of the video.
Example: video name "Double the Edging Fun_180_LR.mp4", script name "Double the Edging Fun.funsript"

I have an account that includes the scripts, so I am just streaming.

I installed DeoVR on the Go, went to the SLR website, went into settings, put the handy code in, hit connect which seemed to be successful, filtered the videos that are meant for interactive toys, tried many but nothing happens :-( Not sure if I've missed a step somewhere.. I know the Handy works because I've tried it with other websites (via my laptop).

I can't see how to download the videos with the scripts - otherwise I would try that.. But would rather it worked with streaming.

I see - it's weird as I thought these things were driven from the server side.

So basically, it just won't work without upgrading to a quest or quest 2?

Okay understood, except why Gear VR still works for midorijin! Any ideas? Sounds like it might be upgrade time anyway.

Amuppet Yes, i just use DeoVR, but i use it on local.
I have all my vidéo and script on my nas.
      Never test on stream.

The app version for the OGo and GearVR are 2 generations behind the current one and are not compatible with the server security measures. In order to make them compatible Facebook/Oculus must update the firmware for the devices. Which they no longer do.

OGo and GearVR literally can't run the upgraded software we now use.
