FB360 MKV files with HP Reverb G2

Rakly3 appreciate the help. I got to the part where I change AAC to use LAV audio and then tried watching some Originals. The audio didn't work by default but I was able to get audio working by just toggling directshow in the video settings of SLR. I could've sworn I either tried that before with no effect or maybe it wasn't an option (maybe new UI added it for originals where it was missing originally, idk). Either way it seems to work now, so thanks.

benwade Happy to hear it's working!

The option has been there for quite a while before the new UI even, so you very well could have tried it earlier. Making the change to your codec settings could have fixed it. Some videos require to be toggled to DirecShow to work.

So I figured something out that explains my earlier confusion. I vaguely recalled that some videos didn't have the DirectShow option in the settings and that seemed to make the difference as far as audio working for the SLR originals.

Then I tried another SLR original. The audio didn't work, and the direct show option wasn't there. I realized that the file I tested after your recommendations had the "FB360" suffix removed as part of my attempts to get audio working. With "FB360" appended to the title, the Direct Show option isn't there in the SLR player. Once I removed "FB360" from the titles of all my videos and enabled direct show on each video in SLR, I have no issues at all.

benwade Ahh yes, that makes sense! The positional audio I beleive is currently disabled in the app because of many issues/confusion. I'm not 100% sure though. @Yar ?
