Hey, @DavesuppVR is it possible to enable casting for the Oculus Go? Asking for a friend.
vrpornanon You mean to Mac or Windows PC or TV? It's possible to cast OculusGo but I'd need to check if it's possible to cast while in app. There is certainly software for that. I quick searched and found something:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LHqvQ3DI-Q or perhaps this one:
DavesuppVR thanks for responding! I meant while using the SLR app. I cast to my iphone but when I enter the SLR app I get the message "Casting/streaming not available on this app." Is there a way to turn it on for the app? I'll look into other software but it'd be cool to do it with the built-in casting. (for OculusGo and Iphone)
vrpornanon Streaming option is currently available for PC versions and on mobile versions via deeplinks (on websites that support that). Casting to another device is unfortunately unavailable. We have currently some more urgent tasks that we are working on. As soon as we finish those we can start focusing on implementing that kind of features you are asking for.
after doing step 8 it asked for password i hit enter 3 times and it told me i failed to log in after 3 attempts.
then i just copy and pasted step 9 and its not working. What do i need to do?
clarkkent1982 did you enter your password? You must enter your computer/admin password. You won't see that you actually typed it but it should register it. Did you check walkthrough with screenshots?
Hi, I'm stuck on stop 13. adb will not recognize my device. I've turned it off and on dozens of times while unplugging and replugging the oculus go. I also tried different usb cords and still won't work.
It just says "List of devices attached" with a blank space underneath. Not sure what else to do.
luch1991 Did you check in Oculus Go when you wrote that command? Be sure to check in Oculus Go and allow permissions.
Stupid question. Where would I find my username?
vegbo If you are logged in you can check in the top right corner of the website where the profile button is. If you would have perhaps mail instead of username you can see it on your profile.
You can log in either with email or username.
Here is where i am completely stuck. i don't know where the file is so when i input : adb install /Users/sunsplash/Downloads/SLROculusGo/apks/SLR_go.apk the reply is : Performing Streamed Install
adb: failed to stat /Users/sunsplash/Downloads/SLROculusGo/apks/SLR_go.apk: No such file or directory
sunsplash you can copy the path from file browser. Copy "SLR_go.apk" should give you the path, just navigate to the folder where the app is.
There is also a link for a walkthrough with screenshots so you can see the actual steps, if that helps.

Hello, I have sideloaded the SLR app to my Quest.
I can open the app fine, but cant select anything with the controllers or a bluetooth controller. I have the the cursor that follows the head tracking.
Am I missing how to select things ?
xbrillx Hey, updated app will be available early next week at latest.
Any update yet?
