I have a Pimax 5k Super and the resolution just isn't good enough. And the fov is barely on par.
Got it on sale for $500.
So I don't think it matters what content creators do; I don't know how anyone can be happy with anything less than a Pimax 8K X and a 3080 graphics card. The content and software can be great but if the end user can't interpret that quality with their hardware, it's still a mediocre experience imo.
