We've actually added a lot of servers this year and they are nowhere near capacity.
I can confirm the website has been loading poorly at certain moments of the day, but this is separate from the streaming servers. It would help if people with issues would also include which area they are located, country / state, nothing overtly specific. And the server they are connected to. You can find this on our speedtest page.
I'm not going to sit here and deny people are having speed issues, it's just not always clear cut or something on our end. A person in Thailand with connection issues to Japan and a person in Texas with connection issues to Miami will in all likelihood not have the same cause, but when both users at the same time post they are having issues without more info, then we also have no clue where to look.
Feel free to even add @Rakly3 to your post and I'll get a notification.
Don't forget to check out our blogpost for any possible steps you can take.
Something I recommend in every situation is to unplug your modem and router for a couple minutes and plug them back in, and not just for speed issues. You'd be surprised how often this fixed issues.
Disconnecting other devices from your WiFi network is also a good test. Many people do not have MU-MIMO routers; This combined with parallel streaming can have big performance impact. It's also always a good idea to check the network density in your area. There are many apps on Android and iOS that can do this and help you find an open or less populated WiFi channel. Simply search for Wifi analyser in your preferred app store and you'll find more than one guaranteed!
Issues with cam feeds is also something completely separate. Those are not the same servers or have any relation to our speedtest results.
Multi-user MIMO allows multiple Wi-Fi devices to simultaneously receive multiple data streams. For example, a wireless access point (AP) can send data to four different Wi-Fi devices at the same time. MU-MIMO can greatly increase the network's throughput and is a real asset for high density networks.
