I thought the latest srl app for the gear vr was crashing all the time, but it turned out it runs fine when booted from the normal app tray.
But when run from the secure folder, the app doesn't want to load.
Galaxy s8 had a secure folder (password protected) where you can install apps that you wouldn't want your kids to find on your phone.
I previously had the cardboard version installed there, and that ran fine.
But I changed to the gear vr version when I received that device.
