doublevr is this still the case? Seems a bit insane of them. Any updates on this?
So far as I have been able to tell from pretty extensive googling, there is zero way to use their products on anything but an android phone, despite how their products are advertised, as although the weird connect app is on iOS the actual websites that might support it seem to require other player apps that aren’t, that seems to be the case with virtualrealporn anyhow, who so far as I can tell also seem to have entirely dropped supporting new content for it, and the tiny handful of teledildonic content they do release seems to now just support lovense.
The required feel connect app is available neither on oculus or vive. So again despite advertisements they seem exclusive to gear vr, and even then practically no one is supporting them, and those that do require you jump through crazy hoops. They have to be in breach of some consumer regulations given how they market themselves and seeming hostility towards people like yourself that could actually address the problem. Their whole interactive stuff is a practical lie for at least 70% of their audience, and then barely functional and barely supported for the remaining 30%
I really fail to see their business case for refusing cooperation much more so than people being hesitant over utilising SLR connect.
Very odd
