Streaming Issue in Australia?

Hi,

I am looking for some help with an issue I am having streaming from an Oculus Quest 2 using the DeoVR app in Australia.

I have a 50Mbps plan with my ISP and when running a speed test connected to the CDN PoP Locations in Sydney, I can get close to that and there's no problem. But about 95% of the time I get connected to either Tokyo-1 or Tokyo-2 and the connection is terrible. Like 3Mbps max... Causing the videos to stop and start all the time.

Is there a known issue with the Sydney CDN Pop Locations that is causing me to connect to Japan most of the time or is there something wrong on my end that I can fix?

It's most likely your ISP DNS and routing.

Try 1.1.1.1 and/or 8.8.8.8
or check here which ones would be suited for your region.
