I'm using the Quest 1 with the DeoVR latest update, and this has probably been the biggest annoyance with SLR for me for a while now. While I'm using it laying in bed, I like to set the view so I can look up at the main menu of video tiles as if it's on the ceiling.
But then while I'm watching videos, when I hold down the Oculus button on the right controller to reset the position to line up with my body position correctly, it always also resets the menu position so it's not on the ceiling anymore. I wouldn't mind that if I could either use the thumb stick to easily tilt the menu to be on the ceiling again, just like the thumbstick works in videos to tilt the view, or if I could use the Oculus button to recenter the menu view to the ceiling. But those functions don't work in the main menu.
Please tell me there's a workaround or a way to fix this, so I don't have to keep constantly having to contort my neck to see and press the Recenter button to change the position of the menu to be back on the ceiling after every single time I want to change the position within a video.
