This all seemed to have started a few months ago and I just ignored it. For the missing VP9 codec videos, I can hit open webpage button and switch to "use alternate player" and get the video playing without sound.
I've used REVO uninstaller to reinstall all codec/media/audio players including codecs from the Windows Store. I reinstalled SLR app and renamed the user/appdata SLR folders to .old. After renaming all my app data and reinstalling, my account was still signed into in the SLR app. I figured I have the needed codecs as the files play in external players. Is there another location with cfg to clear?
My skill level with computers is fairly high. If there is any task or info you need from me let me know and I'll try it.
I saw some post directly on SLR studio video's comments from other users about renaming the files and I had no luck.
Also, I didn't see this issue in the discord.
I'm running Win 10 ver 21H1 with most recent codecs from LAV fresh install of k-lite. Hardware is Rift S on an overkill PC.
