I use DeoVR to stream content over DLNA because I like to download videos from many studios to my PC and because I get virtually zero loading times when I skip back or forward. And I skip back and forth a LOT when watching.
DLNA, however, is limited in that it doesn't allow me to delete videos from my PC from within DeoVR. Therefore I would love it if you could support local playback over the SMB protocol as well.
