  • TMWVRNet scenes out of order

Minor request, but with all the TMWVRNet scenes that dropped around 3 weeks ago: they nearly all have the same "posted" date of 3 weeks ago, but are just in completely random order as far as what year they were shot. When I sort by "new", on the very first page there's scenes from the past week randomly mixed in with scenes from 2020, 2019, and 2018. I just can't make any sense of it, and seems like it's just this one studio with this issue, guessing because they dropped all at once?

If this is fixable that'd be cool, since like with most studios their stuff from like 2019-earlier is definitely a bit dated, and would be nice to be able to just look at more recent scenes from the like 400+ that dropped at once.

justsomedude101 The "new videos" are not listed in the order of release on the official website, but in the order of release on SLR.

It's true that this may seem a bit strange, but if you think about it, not so much.

SLR sometimes posts recently videos older than others, how could we know that new videos are posted (even if on the official site, they are older) if they must automatically go in the order of release of the official site and therefore never appear on the first page?

midorijin That's why I miss the old "new" and "recent" tabs: new for the videos that were the newest, recent for the ones that were the most recently added to SLR.

And I get what you're saying in general, but with TMW they specifically dropped over 400 videos at once, within like a 24 hour period. SLR already had like maybe 50 or so of their scenes, but 85% of the studio's entire library of scenes all dropped in roughly 24 hours a few weeks ago. So why would they be listed in any way other that the date they were originally shot? Sorting by "new" for the upload date to SLR makes no sense when they were showing up at a rate of 25 new scenes per hour and in a completely random order.

Just doesn't make sense to me. I'd like to be able to look at their most recent scenes that have slightly higher production values, but there is literally no way to do it right now that I'm aware of. Seems silly that I have to go to TMWVRNet.com to look at their most recent scenes, then go back to SLR to manually search for those scenes.

New scenes will come in order as they come from website. We will not make any additional functionality just to sort one specific studio

        Philip Fair enough.

I hope you guys will keep it in mind though in the future if/when you pick up additional studios, imagine it's much easier to address during the rollout vs post.

Most things usually have two date fields, "Released" and "Added". I have to agree that being able to sort by the proper release date is important because of how rapidly VR is evolving, especially in terms of quality and resolution. In many cases, users are going to want the better content first simply due to the fact that it provides a better experience for them, and having it buried like this with no way to tell them apart can be frustrating.
