Help me: How do you decide which videos you click?

We are constantly improving our site and main objective is to find great videos as fast as possible for our members. So the question is simple: what is it that makes you wanna click / watch videos? How do you decide which one catches your eye from grid of multiple videos? Do you look at girls, likes, length, reading titles? Do you have a favorite studio that you follow or you don't care so much who shot it as long it's the girl/girls/guy/guys you like? Do you read comments or look at the date it's been posted on?
Also is it better to see more smaller thumbs or do you prefer bigger and detailed?

Let me know what you think, it's always great to hear back the feedback and always brings some new ideas to our discussion table

As far as the size of the thumbnails I think if you could make it adjustable in different sizes as an option that would be great. Myself I like a larger thumb so I can see the details better.
I personally don't pay much attention to likes or number of comments as to whether I want to check out the video. Primarily it is based on whether I think the girl is attractive or the outfit/setting is interesting. Of Course I will jump on videos of certain girls even if they wore a potato sack. I definitely also check out by studio based on my own record of interest in their past works. I also go for unknown girls/studios if the thumbnail tells me I need to or rather if the thumbnail has communicated with my porn lover parts that is.

Obviously can only speak to what I personally do, but:

I always sort by new. Been a member long enough at this point that I've already gone through a huge portion of the non-new scenes, so sorting by new gives me the updates I care about.
Usually skim all the recent scenes for studios I'm already a fan of. If I see one, I'll check it out and then favorite/download it if I like it. Some studios or combos of a certain girl/studio I just immediately begin downloading knowing there's a 95% chance I'll be a fan.
For studios I pay less attention to: How appealing is the thumbnail? If the thumbnail is some poorly colored, poorly focused random snapshot of the scene, that just tells me that its something not worth even bothering to look at, since if no effort was put into that then the scene won't be any better. If you sort by "new" right now, just look at the thumbnails from TadPole, SpiceVR, and VRFootFetish for example (sorry guys). They're just "bleh" and don't make me at all interested in watching them.

Other smaller things I'll pay attention to:
- Favorites is probably the biggest. These numbers are just for example, but if I see a sub-100 favorites scene that's been out for a few days, it's probably not worth looking at.

Things I basically never pay attention to:
- length of scene, title of scene, comments on scene (at least not until after I've already decided if I liked it or not), tags

Then there's the very individual things I personally do:
- for example I love blowjobs, so if the thumbnail features a blowjob there's like a 95% chance I'm clicking to check it out haha.

as justsomedude101 was explaining about the quality of the thumbnail I have to wholeheartedly agree. Tadpole and others like that have such poor video quality, thus it would be impossible to get a clear alluring thumbnail. When I see a thumbnail that is sharp and clear I am more inclined to check it out regardless of any reputation because clarity is extremely important to me.

Okay, so for me, this is how usually do it - I would look at the thumbnail, if it's not interesting I won't even bother with it. But if I see any girls that I know how good they are, then at that point I don't really care about that. But that doesn't mean it's not I'mportant, because eye catching is key, specially for new studios and new performers! And the whole clickbait thing became a thing because of the thumbnails.

After that, I always read the titles because some studios includes words that are part of the theme/scene that are not included on the tags. So the titles are kinda like a second chance. And there are other studios that makes thumbnails that are not clear on showing what kind of scene they are. And because this, I think making the thumbnails a little bigger will be much better for the whole site overall.

Next, I would look at the amount of likes (more about this below)

Also the date it's been posted on are pretty damn important in my opinion. Most of the old scenes doesn't have any close-ups or any good angles. And besides I've seen most of the good ones anyways. (I don't know about you guys, but I don't like how I get bombarded with really old videos, but I think something from 3-6 months ago are completely fine.) Or better yet, just add a feature to change it according to what we like individually.

And then the last thing I do is read the comments. The likes and comments are both super important, because think about it, would you buy an expensive product online without and any likes/low ratings or reviews? (But if I know I'm going to like the video because of the studio, performers, or tags, then the lack of comments or likes doesn't really matter to me.

I usually don't look at the length at all, but If it's a studio I like or if it's for fetish videos, then for sure I will always check the length of it (so like, VRedging, JAV Studios are some few examples).

And if it's done by one of my favorite studios, then it's guaranteed that I will keep checking for any new drops (please allow other studios to use the "coming soon to". This would increase more traffic here on SLR), and I would also at least check out their new videos quickly (if it's a new performer or someone I'm not familiar with).

So to summarize, roughly around 90% this is what I exactly do - thumbnails ~> likes ~> titles ~> tags ~> length ~> comments

Finally, each well established studios has already figured their styles, as well as their target audience. So in this case, as a fan of SLR Originals, I will always cum back because I know there's always a scene that I would want to watch. (Hints: something missionary or face close-up scenes and you know the rest...) ❤

Most studios just get VR wrong according to my eyes. Weird distortions, eyes that don't "match", or huge or tiny girls. I might give them a chance once in a while to see if they got better, but otherwise I ignore them.
Once studios are excluded I go 95% by the thumbnail. (The "full screenshot list" can be useful too, but that's after I've already "clicked" obviously.)
The remaining 5% is number of likes. I pretty much ignore everything else.
If we split the thumbnail into subcategories, 70% of it is how the girl looks, 15% is how "interesting" the scene looks (clothes, anal, some odd fetish etc), and the remaining 15% is production quality.

Some of the softcore studios I just automatically favorite without previewing since I already like their content. Everything else like jav and western videos, I preview the thumbnails for things I like to watch (intro/close-ups, ass, kissing). Then I click the video to sample in vr and wonder: is the scale and alignment ok, am I generally attracted, getting aroused, and wanting to masturbate to this? If yes, then I favorite to watch later, after watching my older favorited videos.

Like others I always sort by new since I've seen the entire catalog of videos from the beginning. Not concerned about length because I watch only what appeals to me and that beneficially cuts down on viewing time, making time to watch other favorited videos.

Also the "smaller" thumbnails before the dashboard update were better; they were actually a decent size. For a database of videos of this scope, browsing on PC is becoming the preferred way rather than in SLR app, especially when the number of videos displayed at a time is half of what it was before. It's a hard way to keep a tab on things without having to go through a whole bunch of tabs.

That was Just a little feedback, but otherwise a great selection of content. It's good that everything is not appealing to "each our own" because there would be no way to watch every single video. That's what I like a lot about browsing; there are many options to choose from, and finding one we like becomes a special treat that can be savored now or later.

Personally, I look at the girl first (one that doesn't meet my needs doesn't make me click (but there are a few exceptions where a girl that I don't like looks pretty good on the cover and I give it a chance) , sometimes I keep, sometimes not)).
Then the studio (mainly the big studios like WankzVR, Badoink, CzechVR, NaughtyAmericaVR ... (there are a lot anyway) but I also have some small sutdios (but which will grow well, like SwallowBay, AnalDelight, BrasilVR ...).
Then, the style of the video (Whether it's VR or flat, I much prefer POV videos).
Je ne regarde pas les commentaire (je commente certaines vidéo, mais ce ne sont pas les commentaires qui vont me faire prendre ou non une vidéo, chaque personne ayant des gouts différents, cela ne sera pas forcément une aide pour choisir), le nombre de like, le titre de la vidéo. La vignette me donne déjà un premier aperçu bien sufisant.
Comme d'autres ici, je trie sur les dernières vidéos sortie (cela ne fait que trois mois que je suis la, mais j'ai déjà récupéré toutes les vidéos dont j'avais besoin, maintenant, c'est juste de la mise a jour que je fait).
After, once it's three steps past, I download the videos and check if the visual quality is good (for example, the WhorecraftVR videos interest me, but the quality is really too bad, really too bad), but also if the scene is pleasant (sometimes scenes with girls that I like are deleted just as there are some scenes with girls that I like less but are really not bad).
But it's still pretty rare that I delete a video with a girl I like.

I will always sort by new, hover over the video for a preview, then click which ones i like and skim through them to see if i want to watch it
