  • VR Porn Quality on the Quest 2

Hello all, my first post - I've just bought a Quest 2, my first VR headset, just for porn! I've been trying out some sites, and while they are amazing, I've noticed that they are either blurry, washed out or on a closeup blurred and out of focus.

Interestingly, on a closeup shot, where you bring up the menu, the shot is 'pushed' back and much clearer, but is blurry on resume.

I am missing something here? Is it because they are 'clips' that the quality is reduced? I'm not comfortable in signing up unless I can see the quality.

I'm just wondering if I'm expecting too much and got a bit hot under the collar 🙂

    mthomas congrats on Quest 2. It's a good choice.

      mthomas By default, when you bring up the menu, the image switches to monoscopic, meaning, both eyes are seeing the same image, not VR.
      This makes using the menu for most people easier. There is a toggle in the settings to change this.

      Try adjust adjusting the IPD and see if this makes it sharper. Sadly the Quest 2 only has 3 fixed settings for the lenses. There isn't much that can be done about this, even though there is software that can "adjust" IPD, it isn't changing the actual position of the lenses to be in focus.
