Tab123 The first few months, when I was trying out VR for the first time, I got those tingles you mention. I thought I could even feel their body heat when they got close. Of course, that high does not happen anymore but I still love VR porn way more than 2D porn. I can't ever go back!

Same here, there were a few times when I've mistaken my own chest-rising body heat for the actress' during up-close sitting positions. Plus there were times when I experienced phantom sense when they lick the forehead; feels like I'm having a peculiar, concentrated surge of subtle energy there expecting real physical touch about to happen.

Funny this thread has popped back up recently, as I was reminded of it when watching the new "Sleepy Roommates" release with Anny Aurora and Lily Larimar.

There were a few times during the opening section where Anny leaned up and whispered in your ear, and the sound quality was just straight-up excellent. Really added a whole other layer, and absolutely wish there had been far more of that throughout. I have no idea why, but it struck me as possibly the most well-done "ear whispering" in a US scene that I've noticed, and I personally could have used about 10x as much of it.

I've been in the photography business for 10 years. Shot for bikini/lingerie lines, magazines, taught workshops. But it's going downhill. So I'm trying to get into something with more of a future. So I'm working on some legal stuff with my lawyer and trying to secure funds. HOPEFULLY. I am shooting by May.

But yeah, ASMR is def high high on my list. I'm not sure I'll be doing BJ or sex scenes. At least not right off the bats. I'd rather put that money towards the women and get them a little more screen time. So I want to stick to solo, stripteases, toy play. And some fetish stuff. Like pissing, GFE (if you can call that a fetish) squirting, anal beads etc. But I'm not against mounting a ASMR recorder to a stand above the camera and letting it record while a girl does her thing. Maybe stripteases in ASMR where she breathes into your ear, or smacks her ass. I don't know. Just gotta figure out how to do it exactly since they are super sensitive to sound.

PcbDude82 Hmm, yeah understandable you would want to start with solo material, wouldn't want to dive too far in without measuring the waters and all that.

As far as ASMR material, a few ideas in general for anyone that might be willing to give it a shot:

solo/toys/masturbation: mic capturing the sound of the action and a 2nd mic capturing the audio. Don't know if you're familiar with the Beautiful Agony site, but "real" and genuine performances like their clips of actual amateurs are. Only obviously unlike BA's it would be in VR and showing the girl's full body/action/etc. Scenes like this exist on Pornhub, and VRSolos here on SLR are similar in idea (but without the emphasis on ASMR).
blue yeti or another high quality mic placed by the camera, and can do a classic "hair cut" scene in VR. Add in some visual teases (unbuttoning blouse, lifting skirt, face closeups, etc.) along with the whispering in your ear. Could be done without a male actor if the setting & angle is right. Could also use a tommy torso for something along these lines, though think it goes without saying that in my dream scenario there is a stunt cock and it progresses from there.
there's a series here on SLR called "The Black Box Collection" that are pretty simple and some very much have an ASMR feel. The Elena Koshka one is fun. Could be a scene as simple as a girl riding a sybian with the mic capturing her moans/whimpers/etc. "Hysterical Literature" was another fun idea that could translate well into VR/ASMR I think, literally just girls reading a book while using a vibrator and gradually losing their composure. Surprisingly hot, Stoya scene is great.

But anyways that's enough of that. Hopefully some studio bites the bullet eventually and gives us a few ASMR scenes. But best of luck either way with the transition my dude, hope it works out for you.

I'm not familiar with that term no. But I did a google search., and I have seen those types of videos before. That's something I was going to ask people once I am closer to being ready to shoot. If they like the top down view and different angles. or just like the straight on view. It's funny you mention that though. Earlier today I was writing down ideas and a couple involve that top down only view. I personally really enjoy that angle.

That's my plan. Going to put a Rode shotgun mic on the camera itself. Then have the Blue Yeti on a boom arm about 15 or so inches above that. Then I'll record audio from the ASMR mic on my Macbook. So I have two audio files. Not sure how it will turn out. But going to give it a go.

Yeah I remember the black box videos. I loved them. I like the pure darkness around the subject. It's def something I wouldn't mind recreating and doing on my own. There are endless possibilities.I was considering doing like straight up ASMR videos, but with a sexual nature. But unless I can find amateur models who will do it for a lot less than the pros, I don't see it being popular enough to make the investment into. Shall see though. Always possible.Couple examples.

Doing a nude yoga session outdoors. Just let the mic pick up the sounds of nature and the model (or models) breathing.
Have a girl laying in bed naked, with low lighting. Almost like a restless sleep. Have her flipping the pillows around, ruffling the sheets, tossing and turning. etc.
Having one model give another a hot oil massage.

I really like the idea of the haircut. One of my favorite ASMR videos from back when I really listened to them a lot, was a haircut one. I fell asleep to it almost every night.

That "tingle" effect is what I first experienced in VR with a VR Intimate scene with Stacy Cruz. It was so intense that it was the very thing that made me sign up to a VR porn site. The effect got especially enhanced later when I saw a scene where the guy is lying on his back and the girl is leaning over, up close, with her hair apparently brushing against the sides of his face. I still can't get over that effect! The directors should really try to get the girls to loosen their hair so that this effect can be duplicated in other scenes.

I feel like a lot of the more recent SLR Originals, maybe from the past 4 months or so, have really made an effort to have some portions where the actress/actresses lean in and often whisper or talk in your ear.

Seems like it's usually been happening more often in the intro segments of scenes, and I wouldn't mind having this type of thing happen more often throughout a scene, but I've definitely noticed the increase in frequency and appreciate the fact that it's being worked in more often.
