And wathcing in pass through vs non passthrough is so different. In pass through the scaling and positioning need to be perfect so she is fucking you right in your own room scaled just right while in non PT they dont quite as much as you are imaging you are the actor in the video.

                      I like to test out all my video to see if they look realistic in passthrough first. If not or doing a mish position when I am laying in bed I just shut of the AI passthrough.

                      I think they can measure the optimal distances by showing the girl what the ideal distances are by a 'dry run' for 2 or 3 key eye contact CG positions are before the actual filming takes place. Maybe you do this by having a live video feed through the rig on a TV placed above the actress so she can see what she looks like with producer feedback.
