Hi there, I am confused about how SLR works with steam VR, in the two methods below, i get GPU usage difference of almost 50% ! Please help me to understand what's the problem
Here is the procedure, for both methods, need to first Launch steam VR first
Method A:
1. Open steamVR desktop view on the dashboard (on steamVR dashboard, click the second icon of desktops from bottom), open computer desktop
2. locate the SLR.exe in the installation folder, double click to open it
Method B:
1. Adding SLR as the nonsteam game to the steam library (as i want to launch it within steamVR dashboard directly without using desktop view)
2. launch the SLR from steamVR dashboard
Resutls: in method A, fpsvr showing about 30-40% GPU usage (2080GPU, sounds reasonable), and 10% CPU suage, in the SLR main interface , without click anything,
in method B, i got 80% of GPU usage (CPU usage not changing), i found this because my GPU fan rack up immediately when i do that
Can you try and see if you can replicate the problem? what went wrong
