I would just add Tsukasa Aoi, Kurea Hasumi, Suzu Honjo, Maron Natsuki, Lilly Hart, and Kaho Imai I don't obviously want to get hopes up too high because ALOT of these girls have contracts and will be hard if not impossible to get on set. Yua Mikami and the like.. Totally different shooting in Japan and casting there. But I mean hopefully SLR can! Damn so happy to just now find out SLR is pursuing this you people rock 😁

      How does that work, and why not do it that way? Would it not just require filming it outside of Japan?

        microtel Afaik it would require filming outside of Japan. Plus any JAV stars who shot uncensored content outside of Japan would virtually 100% guarantee themselves to be blacklisted by JAV studios, so no real incentive for the stars themselves to do it.

          Why do you start a censored Japanese production but not an uncensored European one? I don't understand why it's even on your agenda ro shoot in a country that requires you to censor stuff. I mean you could shoot in almost every country on this planet and you chose this one? I mean Japanese directors simply need to do that crippled "porn" but you don't. You guys are American. There are pretty women everywhere...

            LordCrash Pretty sure it's about 95% because there is a literally absurd amount of money to be made in the JAV market within Japan itself. And since even non-JAV porn is required to be censored in Japan (I believe), there could be absolute bank to be made off a subscription model since it's predominantly PPV over there. Releasing those scenes to those of us outside Japan is just the icing on the cake.

            But I could be wrong...I usually am.

                LordCrash Europe is struggling with talent in my opinion, we will be shooting in Europe occasionally (one shoot is coming up soon), but I don't see the same level of engagement with euro performers as we see with American girls. They are some good euro performers, but they have a lot of VR scenes, there are some new girls, but they don't really get bigger hype than American new girls. 🤷

                      There is much hype for Japanese girls outside of Japan? I don't think so, only for a small dedicated fan base imho, but I could be wrong... There are huge fan bases for European girls in Europe but I agree that it's mostly for more established girls and there has not been a huge influx of really hot new Euro girls lately. I hope this will change again soon...

                        Since the thread has been brought back from the dead anyway: is the ETA still looking to be the end of the year?

                        Anyway I have another question, ever since jav prestige studio went separate ways with R18, they stopped recording VR vids early this year. I dunno why that happened, but is it possible for SLR team to restart prestiges VR production? Imo it would be cool to see new Remu Suzumori VR vids or some other prestige jav models.

                        Personally I like asian girls in general, not necessarily japanese. It just sucks there is so little of it that's uncensored, but I get it.

                        It would be great if you can somehow manage to get cute South Korean and Taiwanese girls as well!
                        So a general Asian studio instead of just Japanese would be an even better option, if you can pull it off that is.
                        There is just so much potential 😉

                          So if/when JAV production starts I recommend a Japanese Idol Parody

                          Not even Japanese studios do a ton of this type of parody in VR. Which is a shame.. But the premise would be you win a contest to hang out with your favorite Japanese Idol Team! Would have to be in parts but starts off just hanging out with the girls and then having a 1on1 show. After this show, things get heated as the girls want to show you their appreciation and well you know where it goes lmbo

                          Dream cast would be 5 girls or more but including personal JAV queen Yua Mikami (She actually was an idol=perfect fit), Tsukasa Aoi, Kurea Hasumi, Arina Hashimoto, Eimi Fukada






                          Now I know these girls are prolly still exclusive and there's a 99.9% chance they will be uncastable outside of Japanese Studios... But I'm just giving a general idea as I have problems searching and finding out exactly who's exclusive and who's not. Heck who knows maybe things change when JAV production starts up? Maybe my brother in JAV arms @n4meless8 can verify 😉

                                Philip ooooooooooo hyped!! But I'll be patient I know it'll happen sooner or later.. Get Honey Popcorn back together asap for an idol shoot lmbo prolly impossible but 3 are actually adult AV actresses. Yua, Moko Sakura, and Miko Matsuda are still currently today.. Just trying to give some general casting/scene ideas 😉

                                    I honestly wonder what you guys will do that isnt already being done by existing studios

                                      catflap I'd be thrilled if they just shot scenes like what is already being shot in JVR, but using SLR's camera rig.

                                      For me, 95% of JVR scenes are unwatchable given that 1.) the scale tends to frequently be off the mark, resulting in the girls look "miniaturized", 2.) many studios tend to use what I will generously call "less-than-great" camera angles that are not a realistic POV, and 3.) that fact that so much JVR tops out at like <4k resolution.

                                      Give me SLR's high-resolution wide angle camera + their directing style + JVR stars any day of the week.
