Did you install it in your Program Files (x86) or Program Files directory? Most installers written by most developers use automation that adheres to windows folder defaults. Problem is both those folder can often have issues with saving writes. For instance, if I install a program and set my settings, then close it, my settings are not saved. The real problem being that windows has control over those folders.
Try one of the following, in this order.
1) Right click on the shortcut and choose "Run as adminstrator". This will allow most settings to be saved even if the app installed in Program Files (x86).
2) Uninstall and reinstall to something other than your Program Files (x86) or Program Files folder.
Firewalls and UAC (user account control) can be an issue as well, but running as aminstrator "should" bypass most of it for your issue. A firewall issue would then only be seen in trying to update or stream.
I've been a beta tester for microsoft since 1998 and NEVER install in either of those folders but have learned why they do as they do.
3) Lastly, it could be an issue with that daydream. Try without it.
