Going into 2027, I’d like to get a word out to all VR directors and content creators. Pls slr pass this around to all creators
First, please stop being afraid of the VR camera! 😂 The VR camera represents the viewer’s head, and the viewer’s body is invisible within the scene alongside the cast.
Now, let’s talk about a bad habit I keep seeing from VR directors, and honestly, it gets really annoying after a while. It's been going on for years now.
PLEASE STOP KEEPING THE CAMERA TOO LOW WHEN STANDING AND TALKING TO FEMALE CHARACTERS!
Whether it’s an intro or a normal conversation with a hottie, why is the camera always looking up at her from below her face? 😂
I see this in about 85% of the content. A female character is standing there talking to me, but somehow I’m a dwarf, kneeling, or sitting down!
RAISE THE CAMERA TO FACE LEVEL! If both characters are standing, the camera should be at a natural height for a face-to-face leve conversation.
I’m surprised we don’t have a whole flock of 6-foot VR viewers complaining that they’re being made to feel short all the time. 😂 I’ve seen it mentioned once!
At this rate, somebody’s going to have to create a separate channel for taller viewers! 🤣
Seriously, directors, please be more mindful of your camera positioning during standing conversations. We want to feel like we’re actually there, not like we’re three feet tall
Just a Kind suggestion 🤘...ty
Thank you! 🙏
