One thing I’ve never really understood is why so many VR scenes have the woman doing all the talking while the guy basically says nothing.
You just end up with him gesturing with hands etc or somehow trying to respond without actually speaking. I’ve always found it a bit odd and it can really take you out of the scene and ruin the fantasy.
Why not just have the guy reply naturally and stay in character with whatever the theme of the scene is? Even if there’s a reason they can’t record his voice while filming, could they not add the dialogue afterwards?
Maybe there’s an obvious reason for it that I’m missing, but it seems to be really common.
Anyone know why they do it this way? Would also be interested to hear SLR’s take on it.
