dev11 Yes, we do have a fairly large roadmap, and for most features we try to stick to it. At the same time, we always keep some room for features that are needed here and now.
We also have analytics that show us which features are used more often and which are used less. Because of that, some features we prioritize may not seem important from your perspective, while other users may rely on them quite heavily.
This is nice to know. I am guilty of criticise SLR but there seems to be some reasonable persons and logic behind it. You should really write and communicate more to this forum cos there are not that many people who can give good and thoroughly answers. I respect.
dev11 Lens parameters, for example, are important for creators and are useful for fine-tuning content.
I get this but I dare say current Lens parameters do not improve anything. I consider myself sharp-eyed and I do not find any video that becomes better using these. I have really tried. There are plenty of content that benefits from adjusting hue, saturation, horizontal offset etc. Even more using HereSphere RGB saturation or Gain.
If you disagree, can you please post even one video that benefits from current Lens parameter.
dev11 what would you use an FPS counter for?
Fair question. If everything works ok you dont need it. Using HereSphere and FPS counter you could see where was the limit and sweet spot of rendered image resolution. The more you increased it the less was your FPS. Old DeoVR classic had "bug" that just slightly change to sharpness dropped 120 fps to about 80. So using FPS data shows what features are resource-intensive or bad implemented.
