AlexSLR This image shows the biggest issue - the "home" or "hub" button has been removed from the player in visionOS, meaning that users only have the option to go "back" to the HTML page to navigate between videos and cam models.
Before, visionOS users would:
0) visit SLR website in Safari, choose section (e.g. VR Videos, AR Videos, VR Models)
1) select "Play in VR" from the SLR video page or VR cams page to enter immersive mode
2) confirm they're entering immersive mode with two visionOS overlays (hand tracking, obscuring surrounding)
3) enter the hub, view a video or stream
4) click the "home" or "back" button to return to the hub and navigate through more videos or streams in the section
Now, visionOS users:
0) visit SLR website in Safari, choose section (e.g. VR Videos, AR Videos, VR Models)
1) select a video or VR stream, which goes to video or model HTML page
2) click the play button over the video or stream preview to enter immersive view
3) confirm they're entering immersive mode with two visionOS overlays (hand tracking, obscuring surrounding)
4) click the "back" button to exit immersive mode and return to video or model HTML page
5) click the "back" button again to return to section HTML page
6) repeat steps 1-5 to navigate between videos/models
The SLR experience is pretty much fubar'd now, and the DeoVR app doesn't address this issue - visionOS users can only view 2D videos in a flat screen in that app.
Assuming this is not a priority, so when should I expect to re-up my subscription? A few weeks, or a few months?
