App release v15.9 (Haptics speed limiter)

Fapmaster17

It was a fresh install yesterday, so the latest version that is available on the Pico Store, 15.0.

ttv34 good time to upgrade

I had time to check, DeoVR Hyper is running Version 1.13 (Build 2168).

Fapmaster17 SexLikeReal no longer triggers the app view. Going to sexlikereal.com just loads a normal browser page, even after logging in. The full-screen overlay never kicks in, so there's no way to get the proper SLR experience.

Please clarify, does the issue occur in the headset’s browser, or in the DeoVR app when accessing SLR?

Fapmaster17

AshSLR It happens in the new DeoVR Hyper App, but since it doesn‘t trigger a web app, it looks like the browser from DeoVR

doublevr I just upgraded, relieved DEO still works, but I can’t see this new “speed limiter”, or any BYOJ things?

I tried BT with my Handy 2 Pro.. I couldn't see anything related to a Speed Limiter.
Q3 with the Newest version of the App.
Assistance would be appreciated

Fapmaster17 Thank you. Yes, that's how it's intended to work in the new app.

EveSLR

ttv34 Hey! BYOJ is available in the DeoVR Hyper app.
To find the Speed Limiter, open a video with an interactive script, click the gear icon on the right, select Haptics, and then select your toy model. Scroll all the way down in the toy settings, and you'll find the Speed Limiter setting there.

EveSLR

Hobbit44 The setting is available in the DeoVR Classic app.

EveSLR It's highly recommended to upgrade to the new DeoVR app https://old.deovr.com/app as we start deprecating Classic/legacy app

Why release a new Haptics Speed Limiter feature on the Old app? I have been using Hyper, now the "New" DeoVR for months.
When will it be on Hyper?
Actually... when will I be able to press a button on my Q3 controller and turn on/off Edging Mode??? 🤪😅🤜

AlexSLR

Hobbit44 Both options will be added to the new app.

doublevr Hi, will the new app come to steam? With the release of steam frame, I sure hope the SLR team isn't going to remove the only way to watch videos on a new device (meaning steam version of DeoVR)? Please confirm if there are plans for frame support or what does it mean "the current app will keep working until end of 2026" (mentioned in the SLR blog post). Thank you.

Sketch

I have just updated The Handy 1 to the latest firmware, connected to DeoVr Classic via Bluetooth (only been using Wi-Fi so far) and tried out the new Speed Limiter feature. To me, it is a great addition, as I can now try faster scripts than I could handle before.
Thank you very much for taking the time to implement this and for explaining in this thread.
