More and more Fake 3D content is appearing on SLR. I payed for VR and not badly eyedestracting Fake 3D videos. you must agree, this is a VR webseite and not a place where anyone can dump his 2.5D crap. Some of you may not even recognize if a video is a 2D conversion or not, but wipe your eyes while they start hurting will tell you.
what is Fake 3D ? (for those who dont know)
Fake 3D is a conversion method similar to the 2Dto3D method some 3D tvs use, anyone owning one will know the difference beetween real 3D and that. While a real 3D image or video consists of either 2 different images taken from two different angles or two different rendered images (from Iclone,Unreal,Unity, ect), a 2Dto3D conversion is a guessing method lacking in depth, with halos around objects, objects are at wrong depth resulting in eye destraction.
I wouldnt mind if videos were converted properly, but that is technically impossible. Period. There are different conversion methods, but they are all together not able to make 2D->3D.
So what i am complaining about that SLR does not seem to recognize such content ( i asume those content creators get even payed for thier stuff), and remove it or at least put it in a 2D category or let users ignore such creators. If i want to watch 2D or 2.5 D porn i go somewhere else and i dont even have to pay for it. Here on SLR i expect VR content nothing else.
a few samples so you dont get confused:
VR as we know it-

3D (SBS, 2 images properly Digtally rendered) -

Fake 3D ( wrong depth on objects, 2Dto3D conversion ) -

Mainly AI stuff is currently converted because AI is not yet able to create real 3D content. May be in years from now but the current state is still DEPTH GUESSING.
I reported this to SLR but without response.
