Download limit prematurely reached.

Umi_Yatsugake

I should have ₁₃ downloads left to reset July 31, but over the last 24 hours... if I download 4k it showed 4 downloads left. Afterwards, if I click on 8k, it showed the correct number (17 left).
Now, the first number has hit zero, so I cannot get to the actual anymore. And it says "monthly limit reached"... which I don't recall that exact verbage used before.
(If I extrapolate back to 30 downloads, it takes me to the 24th, which would make the 6-day window until the 30th... but mine has always said it will reset the 31st this time.

Umi_Yatsugake Hi there,

This happened to me too for the first time this week. I don't know how someone could provide screen shots for something like this. Think about it.

jdogfunk100 We’ve updated how video download limits are calculated to make the system more consistent and predictable.
The total download allowance remains unchanged: you can still download up to 30 videos within a rolling 6-day window.
Your download allowance does not reset all at once on a fixed date. Instead, downloads become available again gradually as your previous downloads leave the 6-day window.
You’ll be able to see how many downloads you have remaining. If you reach the limit, you’ll also see when your next download becomes available.

The new system is unpredictable and confusing.

AshSLR more consistent and predictable.

Could you explain how? As far as I can tell users gain nothing. We could previously choose our own time in the 6 days, now we have to log in multiple times at different points.

AshSLR You’ll be able to see how many downloads you have remaining.

Not really, because it shows how much total we have remaining until the end of the period, not how many we have left until the newly introduced buffer period that adds nothing of use.
