I have encountered a reproducible issue when using DeoVR’s local DLNA streaming function on a Pico 4 Ultra.
When I start a video and seek to different positions on the timeline, the three-dot loading indicator appears and remains visible indefinitely. Despite the loading indicator, video playback continues smoothly, and I can continue seeking without any noticeable buffering or playback issues.
However, when I then exit the video and return to the navigation screen, DeoVR freezes completely and becomes unresponsive. The only way to recover is to force-close the application and restart it.
Current setup
- Headset: Pico 4 Ultra
- DeoVR: Latest version currently available
- Connection: Wi-Fi 6 over a 5 GHz network
- Playback: Smooth, including after scrolling through the video
- File sizes tested: Approximately 10 GB to 80 GB
- Frequency: Every time
The issue occurs with files of several different sizes, and playback remains smooth throughout, so it does not appear to be caused by insufficient network throughput.
Could you please investigate whether the persistent loading indicator and the application freeze are related?
Also, there seems to be a file limit of 50 files being displayed, although there are many more on my media server. How can I solve this?
