Actual download size not the same as stated?

I downloaded the 5k RealJamVr tiny beautiful asian and I expected the file size to be 11gb. Even during its download it was expecting 11gb, but once it finished downloading... I only got 8gb file.
Maybe thats normal and it gets compressed? Doesn't make sense but lol idk.

I don't think it finished downloading. It seems to be aborted. You can check with some Mediaplayer on PC. You won't be able to access sth. in the last third of it.
Normally the filesizes matches exactly to the MB...
Such behaviour can be the case if you're downloading more than 1 file at a time from SLR.

It definitely loads and plays til the end. Another thing I noticed is, when I am selecting the file, it shows 7.7gb

I also downloaded a 18.9 gb one (fun in the sun 6k) and the download on my computer showed 20 😃
In the file loader, it showed 19 gb, which looks fine. So maybe it was just that one file. I could try redownloading it and see if theres any difference. The quality looks to be the same as if I were streaming, so it should be the same file.

I'm having the same problem but I can confirm that the final 3rd or so can't be watched and the deovr player returns an error.

I have only downloaded 1 file at a time so this isn't the issue.

Mikeymay Try to take a link to the file from your browser and put into any download software.

Slight differences can occur when your settings for showing filesizes is different.
For example if a filesize is shown as GIB and on your computer its GB then you will have larger filesize shown after downloading.
Although from 11gb down to 8 is unusual and how you describe it - it sounds like you have windows automatic compression active for that harddrive.
