Position timestamp

xxxscottyxxx

Ive just done a fresh install of DeoVr player as I was having stuttering issues during video playback, ive got all my settings back to how they were before except the positions timestamp at the bottom of the screen and can't work out how to get it back to how it was before..

It used to be grey boxes set into sections that said cowgirl, blowjob, cumshot etc, they were clearly defined sections with a beginning and end, I now have one long continuous line which is like a heat image. Ive gone into all the setting and can't seem to see anyway to change it back

Ive been in 'personalise' and ticked segmentation and timelines tags and this hasn't worked, ive tried about 20 scenes and one random scene did show the version I wanted but all others had the heat signature line instead

Am I missing a setting? Is this a known bug?

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Hello, the setting that controls the display of tags is Timeline tags, located under Personalization. Could you please enable this feature and wait a few seconds? After that, check to see if the tags appear. If they don't appear, please send screenshots (or a short video) showing that the toggle is enabled and that the tags are not displayed.

Also, please confirm that the DeoVR app version installed on your headset is 15.7.3809

AshSLR I've already done that ( selected timeline tags) as mentioned above it doesn't work, it does nothing. If you choose one of the other options and flip it on then off you can see the change, tamineline tags makes no changes at all. DeoVR was a fresh install 3hrs ago so its the very latest version

Ive also located the cause of the constant stuttering / buffeting ive been getting the last couple of months after lots of trial and error..if I clear the cache the player works fine for the whole time I use it, ut when i close tge app and try to use it again if stutters again, clear the cache and its fine again. Obviously I don't want to keep doing this every time as it looses all your settings etc any idea what could be causing this and anything I can do to fix it plese?

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Could you please let me know how much free space is available on your device? Also, when you're using the DeoVR app, do you have any other apps running at the same time?

xxxscottyxxx

AshSLR I emptied some space recently to make sure that wasn't causing the issue, from memory I think I have about 88gb free on the headset now

When Im using the headset there is nothing else at all using the internet.

Ive honesty spent sooo many hours looking for a solution and changing settings as i thought the issue was my end but if you look on the other thread there are a number of people experiencing the exact same issue as me so I honestly don't think the problem is my end anymore

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Thanks for the details. The developers are looking into the issue, and we'll let you know when updates are available

xxxscottyxxx

AshSLR Thank you, really appreciate your help

AlexSLR

xxxscottyxxx Is it correct that the timeline tags disappeared after the last app reinstall?
Can you please send a few videos with missing tags? We need to check them.

By the way, after clearing the cache, are the tags still missing?

xxxscottyxxx

AlexSLR Yes, they dissapeared after I did a fresh install of DeoVR to see if that would fix the issue with the stuttering during playback ive been having
The actual labels such as cowgirl, blow job etc are still there but instead of the individual grey boxes for each section there is now just one continuous heat image line, no defined sections for each position
Ive used the toggle to toggle it on and off several times and out of the 30 or so scence's ive tried two actually worked but the rest were the heat image line. Ive cleared the cache several times and the issue still remains
Sorry, no idea how to take an image from inside the headset and post on here. Too be honest I can live with, its the stuttering and freezing thats making the service unusable for me

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Please send us a few links or titles of the videos with the issue, so we could check them

xxxscottyxxx

AshSLR As mentioned above by me and the other guy there is no consistency, everything is just a gamble if it will work or not...one day titles may play fine for 10mins or so then they will stat stuttering, other days those exact same scenes will play fine, then later that day they will stutter and not play. Some rare occasions everything works fine then others the issue will be there straight away and no scenes will play without stutter.
Resetting the headset and clearing cache is yet another gamble, sometimes it will remove the stutter, sone times not, sometimes it will remove it for 10 - 15 mins then it will return.
I have a 1000mb fibre connection, done multiple speed tests etc and my WiFi is very strong, no other services are effected in the house everything works fine. I tested through the Meta browser on Friday and not one single issue with anything I tried so I truly believe the issue is with DeoVR player.

Sorry, just realised you were referring to the time stamp issue not the playback issue! Its every scene, the only one it actually worked correct on was the Deepinsex Gracey Snow one

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Could you please specify the exact video of Deepinsex with Gracey Snow? they have released four scenes:

https://www.sexlikereal.com/scenes/cum-inside-teenage-19-yo-pussy-70139

xxxscottyxxx

AshSLR I couldn't actually remember so ive just had a look...it was actually a Gracey Snow scene from 'new porn starlets' not Deepinsex.
I checked out about another 15 of the their scenes and they all loaded correctly with the correct grey sections. So for sone reason that particular studios files are all loading correctly, all other titles from all other studios load incorrectly with the heat signature timeline for some reason

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Thank you. Could you please clarify whether by “grey sections” you mean Segmentation (number 1 in the screenshot) or Timeline tags (number 2 in the screenshot)?

![

xxxscottyxxx

AshSLR The graph thing at the top toggles on and off fine in section 1. In section 2 where it says close up, blow job etc that writing is still there but if you look where the blue circle is which shows you what part of the scene you are in you can see it goes across separated great boxes in your image, these are not there anymore there is now just one continuous heat signature line
So grey box 'blow job' next section of the scene 'cowgirl' grey box etc etc..

AshSLR

xxxscottyxxx Thank you for the details. We are already investigating the issue

AshSLR

Hello, please proceed to Settings -> Haptics -> disable Show script heatmap. This should let you see segmentation on the timeline

xxxscottyxxx

AshSLR Yes, that worked! Thank you for your help, appreciate it.
