- Ability to set default settings for different parts of a scene
VR porn, especially passthrough, relies heavily on perfectly matching your body position with the male actor’s body position, as well as the scaling and color settings. I’ll spend a decent amount of time for each scene setting this up, only to have the actors change positions and completely change the scaling, positioning, and lighting, causing me to have to redo all the settings. If I ever watch the same scene again, I have to start all over. I don’t have a coding background, but I think that being able to adjust settings for specific parts of a scene would not be terribly difficult to implement and would drastically improve playback.
- Ability to add timestamps to videos uploaded to DeoVR drive.
Pretty self-explanatory. The ability to jump straight to your favorite position in SLR videos is very helpful, and being able to add your own timestamps to drive videos would add a lot.
- Automatically generated video previews (NOT trailers, which are a paid plugin) on thumbnail hover and on scrub bar for drive videos.
On SLR videos, if you hover over the thumbnail you get a preview so you can quickly get a sense of how it goes, which is something you can’t do on videos uploaded to DeoVR. Not hugely important, however the lack of scrubbing preview is: on SLR, when watching a video, if you hover over the scrub bar at the bottom it gives you a preview of the scene so you can quickly jump to the part of the video you’re looking for. As it currently stands, in order to find a specific part of a video on drive videos you need to keep jumping around blindly until you find it. It would save a lot of time if this feature was added to DeoVR drive. Again, I think these are pretty reasonable/standard features.
